Six years ago, I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS). My MRI showed five flares where MS attacked the myelin sheath around my nerves. My doctor prescribed medication to manage it. At my last checkup, my neurologist found no new MS activity, calling my condition “stable.” Though I’m not cured and won’t regain what I lost, I’m no longer deteriorating. He even plans to discontinue my medication. I was stunned! I thought I’d need it for life. Praise God for His goodness and grace through this journey!

SAY TO GOD: “HALLOWED BE YOUR NAME!”

I have a friend who hasn’t yet come to faith in Christ. He and his wife are facing serious health and financial challenges. I believe God has placed me in their lives to share the gospel. I pray with him about their health difficulties and share verses about the hope I’ve found in Christ. Recently, I explained a simple path of salvation and encouraged him to trust Christ. I send him scripture, sermon links, and videos via text. He reads every message. Isaiah 55:11 encourages me, knowing God’s word never returns void.

SAY TO GOD: “MAY YOUR WILL BE DONE!”

During my mother’s final days, I stayed overnight in her hospital room. Sleep was restless as nurses came and went, but God comforted me with Psalm 4:8: “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me dwell in safety.” Near her passing, she quoted D.L. Moody: “Earth recedes, and heaven opens before me.” Death is life’s final hopeless situation, yet we don’t grieve like those without hope (1 Thess. 4:13). Because of Christ’s death and resurrection, we can face death with confidence.

SAY TO GOD: “GIVE US TODAY OUR DAILY BREAD!”

My son was going through spiritual darkness. I felt helpless. Nothing I could do or say turned him around. God gave me hope in 2 Samuel 14:14 “God devises ways so that a banished person does not remain banished from him.” Miraculously, God devised ways to reach my son‘s heart, and draw him back to himself. Today, he is serving Christ courageously in his family, at work, and in his church. God is using him to disciple other young men to turn from lives wrecked by sin into warriors for Christ.

SAY TO GOD: “DELIVER US FROM EVIL!”
